NOPSSCEA Season 37 Reaches the NeedyNOPSSCEA
Smile…the most genuine representation of happiness and the most beautiful art of God. The curve on one’s lips shows the lightness of life. It shows how strong one has been despite the challenges. Just like the kids of Senior Santo Niño Homes, during the outreach program of the most outstanding students of the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) Season 37, on the 16th day of December, 2017.
The rain and cold weather didn’t stop the students from different schools, to reach and help the kids. Every one of them was smiling as the kids sing Christmas songs such as: Joy to The World, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, and many more as they arrived.
The energy of the students hyped as they introduced themselves in their jolliest ways. As how a smile represents happiness, it also showed their love for the children who embraced them whole-heartedly. The widest and most beautiful curve on the face was etched on each and every one of them.
On the other hand, a laugh from the mouths of happy children is also one of the greatest masterpieces of His music. The children laughed as they danced to the beat of the music with the students of NOPSSCEA as they played several games. It was then that each of them made their bond stronger.
The way to a child’s heart is through their stomach, as how the students reached them even more as they gave food for all the children. Happiness was evident in the students’ faces as they watched them eat after thanking the Man above. It was then that they made such an effort to entertain the kids while munching their food, and to not let them get bored.
“Merry Christmas everyone! We love you!” the kids of Sr. Sto. Niño Homes said in unison. Their happy faces were enough to tell how great the day has been in the midst of darkness. They did not make words over-rated, and actions become useless, as they let the two of it collide to show their strong emotions. It was then that God’s masterpieces were shown by the means of His children, through the help of the kind-hearted students.
