NOPSSCEA Season 37 Awards Young Conquerors

BLESSED — that’s one of the many adjectives used to describe the dominants of the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) Season 37, during its Sports Awarding Ceremony, last November 25, 2017, 2:00 P.M, inside the STI West Negros University Gym.

The conquerors of Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) brought home, not just one but 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals, leading them to be the overall champion, for the Track ‘n Field competition for the Elementary Boys Category.

In this light, the elementary girls of BTTHS didn’t let themselves feel inferior as they also victored medals leading them to be the superiors of the Track ‘n Field competition too.

BTTHS didn’t stop flying with such colors as they gained 14 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze medals, for the High School Girls Category for Track ‘n Field, and their High School Boys soaring high, as they got the title of being the overall champ for the sport too.

For the Tertiary Men and Women Category for Track ‘n Field, both students of University of Negros Occidental Recoletos (UNO-R) and University of Saint La Salle (USLS) flew above all, as they were hailed as the best among all.

For Badminton in Elementary Boys and Girls Category, St. John’s Institute and St. Scholastica’s Academy, rose among the rest, in the Singles and Doubles Competition.

It had been tough as the St. John’s Institute and Trinity Christian School conquered the gold, silver, and bronze medals, for the High School Girls and Boys Category for Badminton.

It had been a great fight for all the athletes to fight for their love of passion and for them to showcase their talent and be acknowledged for it.

“Today, you will be acknowledged because you are blessed,” Dr. Ervie Gallespen, President of NOPSSCEA Season 37, said during her short message at the start of the program.
